The documentary film An African Answer was screened on 18 May 2011 at the Crosthwaite Parish Room in Keswick, Cumbria. An African Answer, FLTfilms' latest documentary, is shot in Kenya and depicts an African initiative to foster healing and reconciliation after more than one thousand people lost their lives following disputed elections in Kenya at the end of 2007. Imam Muhammad Ashafa and Pastor Jame Wuye - former militia leaders turned peace-makers from Nigeria - were invited to mediate in the worst-affected district. This film depicts their dramatic bid to bring healing and reconciliation after death and destruction.

The showing in Keswick was attended by over 30 local people who appreciated the peace work of Imam Ashafa and Pastor James. The film producer, Dr Imad Karam, was present to introduce the film and engage in questions and answers with the audience afterwards.

The public screening was initiated by active Keswick community member Carol Sarsfield-Hall who, along with members of the Keswick Fair World Alliance and Keswick Fair Trade, had seen the film at a private screening, and decided that the film should be shown to a wider audience.

The original film, The Imam and the Pastor, which captures the story of reconciliation between Imam Ashafa and Pastor James, was screened in 2008 in Keswick in the presence of Dr Karam.

The Keswick Reminder, North Lakeland's local newspaper, ran a report of the film showing, on 20 April 2011.
