'The Man Who Built Peace' documentary selected for Illuminate Film Festival

'The Man Who Built Peace', has been officially selected for its world premiere screening by the Illuminate Film Festival

The newly made documentary film, 'The Man Who Built Peace', has been officially selected for its world premiere screening by the Illuminate Film Festival in Sedona, Arizona on 4 June.

The film is a biographical documentary that captures the life and peace-making legacy of Dr. Frank Buchman, the founder of Initiatives of Change.

Following an experience of personal suffering and transformation, Frank Buchman's course was set to pass that on to the world and helped shape the course of history. The film shows how Frank Buchman helped to rebuild relations between France and Germany and to 'bring Japan back into the family of nations' post WWII. The film is very relevant in today’s politically charged climate. You can read a review of the film here.

'The Man Who Built Peace' was up against over 400 other films in the selection process and is one of 22 selected for the festival.

The film’s Director, Imad Karam, and Producer, Kelly Burks, will attend the festival and respond to questions from audiences after the film's screening.

The film will be available for public release in July 2017. People can pre-order the film by sending an email to: Buchmanfilm@iofc.org.
