Read about an unusual, understated but crucial part of the heritage of Initiatives of Change (IofC)...
The stories in this booklet represent an unusual, understated but crucial part of the heritage of Initiatives of Change (IofC): the belief that where God guides, He provides. For the first 70 years of IofC’s existence, most of its fulltime workers received no remuneration, but depended on the gifts of individuals to cover their day-to-day living expenses. They described this as ‘living on faith and prayer’. This booklet, drawing on experience in the UK, explores an often overlooked part of IofC’s heritage, and celebrates the courage, generosity and faith of its pioneers, and the small miracles which sustained them.
