African Tale

Auteur(s):
'God has a plan for Africa'

The eyes of the world turn increasingly on Africa these days. People everywhere sense that the forces and Ideologies at work among the millions in Africa may now affect their own lives. This book reveals how during the last years a new factor has emerged in this vast continent - a factor that is superseding the known issues of ‘White Supremacy’ or ‘Africa for the Africans’, and providing a third way.

Stephen Foot writes about this alternative from his personal experience and on-the-spot observations in all parts of South Africa, in Kenya, Nigeria, the Gold Coast and Rhodesia. He is convinced it is the one hope for Africa.

A change, he says, is taking place in individuals of the most varied backgrounds, black as well as white, including white men full of race prejudice and black men bitter against the white, whose feelings towards each other have become so different that inevitable clash has given place to possible co-operation in a new plan for Africa. These were at first isolated phenomena, but they have been increasing rapidly.

He describes how a nucleus of people of all races are having an impact not only on human relationships, but also on working conditions, housing problems and the young parliaments, through the acceptance of moral principles and the conviction that God has a plan for Africa.
