"...Christ has some purpose concerning all mankind, and that purpose is above him with his needs, above the churches with their doctrines, above Heaven with its saints." (From G. Drummond's sermon, "The Program of Christianity")
Henry Drummond (1851-1897) was a Scottish Christian thinker and scholar whose writings greatly influenced the Oxford Group and the Moral Conversion movement. He always emphasized that each person had a special calling before God. He had a special gift for helping young people find meaning in life and direction for their inner development.
This book is a Russian edition of some of his most inspiring talks.
