Through the Walls (Russian edition)

Leif Hovelsen (1923-2011), a member of the Norwegian resistance during the Nazi occupation, went through German prisons and camps. For him, however, German captivity was a time of spiritual liberation. A man who was tortured and mocked in captivity, he was one of those through whom the reconciliation of the German and Norwegian peoples finally took place.

Leif recounts honestly, openly and in simple language his spiritual doubts, his quests, and how faith and love helped him to change himself and to help many others on the same spiritual path.

Leif was a great friend of Russia, in love with Russian culture and believing in a future alliance between Russia and Europe based on friendship and mutual respect. It was Leif who in the early '90s introduced the Russians to "Moral Conversion" and continued to work tirelessly to build bridges of trust and cooperation between the West and Russia until his old age. Most of those Russians who became supporters of Moral Re-Armament / Initiatives of Change ideas became so because of Leif.
