Letters from Hicks to Parsi addressing his wish to understand the Christian life.
'Parsi is a captain in the Indonisian army. He fought against the Japanese, and later took part in the Resistance movement. After the war he came to Europe to complete his studies. He wrote to his friend Roger Hicks saying he very much wanted to know something about the life of Christians and what they believed.'
