Springbok Stampede met with Rhodesian Prime Minister, Mr Ian Smith.
Mr Ian Smith, Prime Minister of Rhodesia (now called Zimbabwe) told the cast of Springbok Stampede, "You have come here on a wonderful mission. I wish most of the people in the world were like you. Thank you very much for coming."
