The Keswick Reminder newspaper of 16 March 2012 reported the screening of the film Zhara: change begins at home, in the English Lake District town of Keswick. (It is the place where MRA founder Frank Buchman had a profound experience of forgiveness towards those whom he thought had wronged him.)
The paper described the film as 'a compelling story of the problems faced by refugees from Somalia as they come to terms with their new lives in London and Manchester. As Zhara showed, refugees in a strange land need caring leaders, fluent in English and skilled in finding answers to community conflicts and family tensions. The film showed the remarkable mother at work, Zhara, dealing with disputes between Somali clans; listening to teenagers complaining about their parents and to parents complaining about their teenagers.'
The paper concluded that, after the film showing, 'The Revd David Edwards then led closing prayers for peace and reconciliation--prayers used by Christians and Muslims.'
