It’s been mine and my wife's privilege to know most of this ‘founding generation’ as friends and colleagues. And what an extraordinary bunch of people they were, from such different backgrounds, bringing many skills to this great adventure.
Video: the Brandt family from nearby Bulle had a metal-working business. In the black and white film of 1946, you saw a shot of Jacky Brand’s grandfather, who came with an apprentice to mend all the broken locks. Their family firm have been connected with Caux since then: a good example of how support for the centre and outreach of its ideas often go hand in hand. Here Jacky talks about what he found in the ideas of Caux, and his vision for business.
