Frank Buchman was not a writer. But he and the work he inspired have produced hundreds of books, all of which we have tried to collect here on this platform. This book, the only one which carries his name as 'author' is a collection of his speeches, and gives insight into his ideas and his personality. It has been translated into a host of languages, and the full text can be read here, and word-searched.
This is the definitive edition produced shortly after Buchman's death, with a number of other documents/evaluations from other personalities.
‘Dr Buchman has presented to the world an ideology above race or class because it seeks to answer the needs of the heart. This ideology seeks to change men, their ideas, their motives and their aims.’
U Nu, Prime Minister of Burma
‘What Moral Re-Armament brings us is a philosophy of life applied in action.
‘It is not a question of a change of policy: it is a question of changing men. Democracy and her freedoms can be saved only by the quality of the men who speak in her name.
‘That is what Dr Buchman expresses in simple and moving words. He has declared war on materialism and individualism, twin generators of our selfish divisions and social injustices.
‘May he be heard and followed more and more, in all nations of the world, by those who today still clash in fratricidal hatred.’
Robert Schuman, as Foreign Minister of France in his foreword to the French Edition.
