Caux work weeks
Pictures from the annual Work Weeks in Caux
In 1986, it was suggested to have a Work Week to prepare the house for the 40th anniversary of the conference centre. Volunteers were invited to come and spend the day working in different parts of the building. Hundreds of people came through the years, from the very young to the much older. Tasks were varied, from painting, repairing, making apple purée, or mending sheets or aprons. These lasted for over 30 years.
