From the book cover:
Ginny Wigan was brought up in Moral Re-Armament (MRA), an organisation with Christian roots. Thousands were attracted to it, including her parents and, with no other frame of reference, Ginny herself. After leaving school she joined other teenagers in fulltime MRA work, with the aim of changing the world.
As a child she was affected by her parents' frequent absences and as a young adult suffered from the distortions and culture of coercive control which surfaced in parts of the organisation. At the same time she was afforded some remarkable experiences and many life-long friendships.
An established ghostwriter and editor, Ginny tells with courage and honesty of her journey through and beyond the organisation that shaped her life. In doing so she sheds fresh light on some lesser-known aspects of MRA life and work, as she experienced them.
This book is about a woman finding her own path in the world and is written in the hope that others in similar situations may be encouraged to find a new track — of freedom and self-belief.
The book is self-published on Amazon and may obtained from Amazon websites in most parts of the world
