Journalist and author Michael Henderson, renowned for his books on forgiveness and a life-long involvement with Initiatives of Change, recalled VE Day, 70 years ago. He was just 13 when he returned to the UK, after five years in the USA where he had been evacuated during World War II. He didn't even recognises his mother on his return and walked right past her!
