Donald W. Shriver Jr.

Dr. Donald W. Shriver, Jr. was raised in Norfolk, Virginia, attended Davidson College, Union Theological Seminary, Yale Divinity School and Harvard University. In 1955 he was ordained as a
Presbyterian minister. From 1975-1996 he was President and Professor of Ethics at Union Theological Seminary in New York. 
Dr. Shriver is an active speaker on issues related to religion and international relations and is the author or editor of 12 books, including An Ethic for Enemies: Forgiveness in Politics (Oxford University Press, paperback, 1997).
