British publisher
John Munro was conceived in Paris, born in New York, and raised in Surrey. John's hard, early years in the bleak austerity of pre-war and war-time London, marked him for life. He did his National Service with the RAF, before going into advertising and publishing. He became involved with Moral Re-Armament, but despite professional progress and strong religious faith, he felt blighted by his loveless upbringing. Through writing an autobiography, he learnt to forgive his parents, and to forgive himself. His editorial and publishing work, his many friendships and activities in Arundel, his faith, and his delight in his many godchildren have all helped to bring greater peace to his later years.
