Chris Breitenberg is an American who works at the intersection of peace-building and justice with a specific focus on serving people and their agency to create lasting, significant change in their lives, communities and world.
Currently, he's the head of National Program Partnerships at Rising Tide Capital, a New Jersey-based non-profit focused on the role entrepreneurship can play in economic development and justice.
Over a number of years with Initiatives of Change, Chris has supported the work of the International Council, Action for Life, IofC International Communications, The Gandhi Voyage, Caux Interns and various local initiatives in the US.
He lives outside of New York City with his wife and two children. In his spare time, you’ll find him playing music, cooking up a storm and starting spontaneous dance parties with his family.
