Kath Moir

Born on 10th April 1931 in Stirling, Scotland, Kath led a rich and active life; a committed Christian called to help heal the world and to end conflict working with friends in MRA/Initiatives of Change.  Her calling led her to live and work in Nigeria, Switzerland, India, and South Africa. She made many friends across the world, and felt keenly for those affected by war, famine and poverty. Kath married Finlay in 1962, forming a devoted partnership that would last for 58 years. During her life she called a number of towns in the UK her home, the longest spells being in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, followed by four years in a retirement complex with Finlay, close to her son, Alistair and his wife Phillipa in South Lanarkshire.
