A short film entitled 'Change: the BELA initiative' was launched at the Caux forum on Trust and Integrity in the Global Economy

A unique new short film entiled 'Change: the BELA initiative' was launched at the Caux conference on Trust and Integrity in the Global Economy in Caux, Switzerland, on 14 July 2013. Narrated by actor Jeremy Irons, the film is a call for businesses to serve all their stakeholders in a balanced way. BELA stands for Business, Enquiry/Ethics, Leadership, Action. It is named in honour of the entrepreneur Bela Hatvany, who is the inspiration behind the film.

The BELA Initiative is 'an alliance where organisations, individuals, businesses and entrepreneurs can join to collaborate, share information and experience—both to give and to receive in ways that empower oneself or others to develop a clear purpose to serve the whole. To enable a world that works for everyone.'

For more information on this Initiative, please visit the BELA page where Bela Hatvany has also written an open letter, telling about his journey in life. Viewers are invited to add their comments.

The film is supported by:

Lord Brooke of Alverthorpe;

Matthew Taylor, CEO of the Royal Society of Arts, London;

Marina Cantacuzino, founding Director of the Forgiveness Project;

Zarin Karas and Anne-Marie Huby, co-founders of JustGiving;
