The Forgotten Factor describes a conflict between trade union leaders and factory directors, played out within two opposing families. The son of the company director acts as a catalyst of change and dialogue between his father and his friend's father, the trade union leader. The play ends up with a reconciliation between the two men. The play was made into a film.
