A FORMER senior lecturer at the University of Liverpool has died aged 93. Elizabeth Bradburn, a senior lecturer in childhood education died on January 17 after suffering a stroke. As well as her university work she wrote the book, Margaret Macmillan: Portrait of a Pioneer, which charted the life of the pioneer of nursery education in inner cities. She was also a member of the charity Initiatives of Change which promotes trust across the world’s divides and took her across the globe. Her funeral will take place at Elmhall Drive Methodist Church, Allerton, on Thursday, at 10.30am.th
