Mustapha Olatunji encountered Initiatives of Change in 2012 and began active volunteering the following year. He helped develop transformational programmes for teens and young adults which still run in Nigeria today. He has also focused on initiatives for good governance and violence-free elections in Nigeria.
From 2015 to 2021, he managed IofC Nigeria’s communication and branding. After some time out, he attended the UTSAV gathering at Asia Plateau in India in January this year, where he met some of those active in the For A New World initiative. He became inspired to get the resources of the platform more widely known via social media. On his return to Nigeria, he reconnected with the IofC Nigeria team and is actively reinvolved in local events.
He is engaged and soon to be married. Professionally, he works for development organisations as a communication strategist consultant.
