British journalist, editor and writer

A. J. Russell was a literary editor of Beaverbrook's Daily Express and later managing editor of the Sunday Express. He is best-known for editing the devotional "God Calling," and also one of the earliest books on the Oxford Group and Frank Buchman "For Sinners Only" which went through 17 editions in two years.
