‘A remarkable story that will delight and inspire,' James Fox, film and television actor.

Ronald Mann has pioneered the use of Christian Theatre in Britain. He is a visionary and a man of faith. This book helps us to understand his rugged wartime experience.... As a Captain in the British army Ronald Mann was captured by the Germans in North Africa. He was imprisoned in Northern Italy, escaped and spent six months walking 700 miles to reach Allied lines. After the war he returned to Italy and took part in the work of reconciliation undertaken by Moral Re-Armament.

He has been a theatre producer and promoter of more than 70 shows in London’s West End and for fourteen years was a member of the Society of West End Theatre. He co-founded the ecumenical professional theatre company, Aldersgate Productions, and the Christian Arts Trust. He is a director of Westminster Productions.

He was a member of the World Methodist Council for over ten years. After his return from prison camp he took up landscape painting under the Lakeland artist, Heaton Cooper. He has sold over 1,000 originals and held 34 one-man exhibitions.
