Anne Wolrige Gordon was born in 1936, and grew up on her father's farm in Suffolk. She was educated at Ancaster House, Bexhill. After leaving school she travelled widely with her father, helping him with his work and appearing in several of his plays. In 1962 she married Patrick Wolrige Gordon, the Conservative MP for East Aberdeenshire. Anne Wolrige Gordon has a son and two daughters . She has written two books 'Peter Howard Life and Letters' and 'Dame Flora the life of Dame Flora MacLeod'. She served for thirteen years as a Court Justice in Aberdeenshire where she now lives.
