Pillar of the kitchen in Caux
GUNDA SJÖGREN was born in a hamlet inaccessible by road in northern Sweden.
For years she was a pillar of the kitchen in Caux and she gave herself in other parts of the world without getting tired. She wrote about her life in the book: 'My roots survive the flood'.
Gunda had Alzheimer's disease and died in April 1996.
